About The Position

The Club Director, TAV Alliance will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the club with a focus on strategic growth and retention of all coaches and players. The position will have a strong financial responsibility to meet or exceed revenue and expense targets on an annual basis while working to promote and lead the newest branch of TAV volleyball in the Northlake area. This position is not eligible for remote work.

Requirements

College degree is recommended; Marketing or Business focus preferred
At least three years of club level volleyball experience
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with coaches, parents, players, vendors, etc.
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and special events

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of operating the TAV Alliance Volleyball club including, but not limited to, budgeting, monthly financial reporting, recruiting and managing coaches, player recruiting, etc.
Oversee and direct all communication with players, parents, and coaches
Create all practice schedules in conjunction with the facility’s GM and/or AGM
Manage player registrations, organize rosters, and assign check in responsibilities for all TAV Alliance tournaments
Create tournament schedules in tandem with TAV management staff for the entire club
Lead and support all coaches including hosting regularly scheduled progress meetings, providing guidance on effective communication with program participants and parents, etc.
Host coaches' clinics quarterly to ensure coaches have a similar, high-level approach to practice and instruction
Observe team practices and adjust instruction for the best development of the athletes, as needed
Organize, promote, manage, and attend all clinics and camps
Host and coordinate pre-tryout clinics and tryouts for all teams
Manage athlete and schedule database
Host sizing day, including ordering and distributing all uniforms
Work with contracted Sports Performance group to schedule strength and conditioning in tandem with practice dates
Work closely with management on financial payments needed for tournament registration, equipment, and other various needs
Work closely with the facility on all recreational level volleyball leagues and teams
Collaborate with local school districts for potential joint activities and create a healthy relationship for third-party promotion
