About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SSPM Specialist to support the Cloud Security Assurance (CSA) organization by ensuring critical enterprise SaaS platforms are securely configured, governed, and continuously monitored. This role focuses on identifying SaaS misconfigurations, access risks, and control gaps that could lead to data exposure or identity compromise. The SSPM Specialist maintains continuous visibility into SaaS security posture, builds and operationalizes detection logic aligned to defined configuration and governance standards, and partners closely with application and identity teams to drive effective remediation. This role plays a key part in improving SaaS security maturity and providing leadership with transparent, risk based posture reporting.

Requirements

Understanding of SaaS security posture management concepts and secure configuration practices.
Experience identifying SaaS misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and access governance risks.
Knowledge of identity, access, role, and permission models within SaaS platforms.
Familiarity with SaaS integration patterns and enterprise scale application environments.
Ability to build and maintain detections aligned to defined configuration and governance expectations.
Experience partnering with application and identity teams to drive remediation and secure design outcomes.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk, impact, and control gaps.
Ability to document findings clearly and provide actionable guidance to technical and non technical audiences.
Comfort operating in a fast paced cloud and SaaS environment with evolving platforms and requirements.
Ability to work independently on complex initiatives while contributing to broader team objectives.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting SaaS security, cloud security, or identity governance programs.
Familiarity with enterprise SaaS platforms such as productivity suites, CRM, HR, ITSM, and developer collaboration tools.
Experience supporting audit, risk assessments, or compliance driven reviews.
Knowledge of control frameworks and secure configuration baselines.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or security related field.
Relevant security or cloud certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure critical enterprise SaaS platforms are securely configured and governed in alignment with CSA security standards.
Maintain continuous visibility into SaaS security posture and configuration across in scope applications.
Perform secure configuration monitoring of enterprise SaaS platforms to identify misconfigurations, excessive access, and control gaps.
Detect configuration, access, and permission issues that could lead to data exposure, identity compromise, or policy violations.
Build, maintain, and refine detection logic that enforces defined SaaS configuration and governance expectations.
Support the operationalization of SaaS posture monitoring capabilities through onboarding of new platforms and integration of posture data.
Partner with application owners, platform teams, and identity and access management teams to remediate SaaS posture risks.
Triage SaaS posture findings, assess risk and impact, and support prioritization of remediation activities.
Provide SaaS posture reporting, metrics, and risk transparency to Cloud Security Assurance leadership.
Contribute to SaaS security standards, baselines, and documentation to support consistent governance and audit readiness.
