About The Position

The Senior Professional Services Consultant for Cloud Security delivers design, deployment, and configuration of Palo Alto Networks solutions across public and private cloud environments. This role serves as a subject matter expert in virtualized and cloud-native architectures, working directly with customer stakeholders and project teams to design and implement secure, scalable solutions. The consultant provides technical leadership on complex engagements, guiding architecture decisions, troubleshooting issues, and driving successful delivery. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks technologies and cloud platforms within customer environments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure, or security delivery roles, including 3+ years implementing security solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience automating and deploying cloud-native solutions using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Experience designing and deploying solutions in virtualized or containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes, NSX, OpenStack) in enterprise or service provider settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical delivery or workstreams within customer engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Palo Alto Networks elements to build highly automated virtualized environments, maximizing customer success with cloud-native security.
• Serve as a technical expert on executive-level project teams, interpreting requirements and proposing innovative alternatives.
• Demonstrate and validate proposed solutions, ensuring successful deployment and handoff for ongoing security operations.
• Interact with Consulting Engineers on recommended architectures and DevOps options, and collaborate with the Palo Alto Networks TAC for troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Ensure client needs are met, deliverables are produced on time, and comprehensive documentation packages are created.
• Script and automate repetitive tasks to streamline deployments and operations.
• Deliver high-quality documentation aligned to Statements of Work and customer requirements.
• Lead or independently deliver complex solutions in customer environments, depending on engagement scope.
