The CLO Analyst is responsible for administering a book of existing CLO transactions and onboarding new transactions while ensuring compliance with all Bank and Corporate Trust policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include calculating waterfalls and quarterly distributions to investors; compliance collection in accordance with the governing deal documents; analysis and compliance monitoring of portfolios; compliance with all departmental policies and procedures while ensuring regulatory and compliance concerns are effective and implemented. The role also involves maintaining close communication with departmental associates, trustees and collateral administrators, auditors and other third-party providers related to the transactions. The Analyst will respond timely and accurately to all inquiries, prepare reports, review data for deficiencies or errors, and research any discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in quantitative analysis, finance, mathematics or statistics.
  • A minimum of two to three years of experience is required as either a CLO Trustee, CLO Manager or Middle Office professional.
  • Experience with CDO/Suite and Excel/Macros.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast paced and an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Experience with reviewing and understanding payment provisions in complex legal documents.
  • Experience with Solvas/CDO Suite.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • General knowledge of regulatory rules that apply to communication with customers.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize workflow and high attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills and will be required to become skilled with all applications used by WSFS, FSB.
  • Ability to work independently, as a part of a team and to exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to write reports, memorandums, business correspondence and draft procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from loan agency team members, relationship managers, administrators, borrowers, auditors, lenders and others clearly and concisely.
  • WSFS Bank will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from WSFS Bank now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all Bank and Department policies and procedures
  • Timely responses to inquiries of the clients, trustees/collateral administrators, auditors, other third-party providers and CLO Associates related to the deals.
  • Onboarding of new transactions
  • Liaise with CLO team members, relationship managers, administrators, borrowers, auditors, investors, management and vendors.
  • Pursuant to the priority of payment provisions in the governing deal documents, calculate and verify compliance testing and quarterly.
  • Produce specific reports based on client needs.
  • Interpret CLO indentures and other deal governing documents.
  • Responsible for developing, testing and ongoing maintenance of compliance and waterfall reporting.
