With more than 125 years of innovation and impact, Henry Street delivers offers more than 50 programs and remains one of New York City’s largest social service agencies. Part of the Transitional and Supportive Housing division and inaugurated in 2007, 290 East 3 rd Street Supportive Housing Residence is a permanent supportive housing program that provides on-site social services for 52 tenants. At the residence, the wellness and safety of the individual is deeply connected to the wellness and safety of our community. Henry Street Settlement is seeking a qualified clinician (LCSW or similar) to provide ongoing counseling services within a supportive housing program located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The program serves high-risk residents with complex psychosocial needs. We are looking for a proactive, dynamic clinician who is comfortable working onsite in a residential setting and is committed to supporting residents in maintaining stability, enhancing quality of life, and accessing essential mental health services and community resources. The ideal candidate will hold a CASAC or CASAC-T credential or have at least three years of experience in a substance use treatment setting, with a strong foundation in evidence-based behavioral health practices such as CBT, DBT, Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing. The LCSW must be a collaborative professional, working closely with the onsite social services team, medical providers, and external partners to deliver integrated, trauma-informed, and client-centered care.
