About The Position

The Healing Place (THP) is a nationally recognized nonprofit recovery program providing hope, healing, and long-term support for individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring behavioral health needs. Clinician Level 4 is a senior-level clinical leadership role responsible for advanced clinical oversight, supervision of multiple clinicians, and driving clinical excellence across programs. This role plays a key part in shaping clinical practice, supporting program development, and ensuring high-quality, compliant care within THP’s integrated recovery model.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Active independent Kentucky licensure (LCSW, LPCC, LCADC, or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment
  • Proven experience providing clinical supervision
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Advanced clinical judgment and crisis management expertise
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced residential environment
  • Respect for diverse backgrounds and recovery journeys

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a reduced caseload to model high-quality clinical care
  • Provide advanced clinical support for complex or high-risk cases
  • Support crisis management and clinical decision-making across the team
  • Provide supervision to multiple clinicians and oversee supervision structure
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of clinical staff
  • Ensure consistency in clinical practice, documentation, and treatment standards
  • Lead case consultations and clinical case reviews
  • Partner with leadership to enhance clinical programming and service delivery
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, trends, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support implementation of evidence-based practices across programs
  • Ensure alignment between clinical services and THP’s peer-driven model
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical, program, and leadership teams
  • Support cross-functional problem solving and care coordination
  • Contribute to strategic planning and organizational priorities
  • Oversee documentation quality and compliance across clinicians
  • Conduct audits and provide feedback to ensure regulatory standards are met
  • Support audit readiness, accreditation, and compliance efforts
  • Mentor and develop emerging clinical leaders (Levels 2 and 3)
  • Lead internal trainings and clinical development initiatives
  • Maintain advanced licensure and expertise in best practices
