About the Team The Residential team provides mental health residential treatment for adults with acute mental health needs who have not responded to outpatient treatment and have needs that cannot be met in a less restrictive setting or would benefit from further treatment following inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. The team provides medication services and individual and group services with a focus on skill development including communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution; life and social skills to restore functioning; and self-regulation, anger management, and other mood management skills. What You'll Do Provide clinical leadership that is consistent with AKBH's mission, values, and goals to a multidisciplinary team of mental health service providers Ensure program clinical records comply with AKBH policies and procedures as well as external audit requirements Work with leadership and the Residential Team to plan, propose, and implement new ideas for community needs and resource development (grants, contracts) Direct and coordinate the client admission process in collaboration with Residential Managers, as well as treatment, rehabilitation, and support services of the program with the Team's psychiatric providers Provide clinical direction to clinical associates, peer support specialists, and floor staff Conduct clinical assessment and provide direct clinical, rehabilitation, and support services to clients
