Position Summary The Clinical Team Lead supports the daily operations of the laboratory with a focus on workflow coordination, patient flow, and clinical support processes. This role serves as a resource to clinical staff, helping to ensure efficient operations, accurate documentation, and compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations. The Clinical Team Lead promotes consistent, high-quality, and patient-centered care delivery. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate and support daily clinical workflows, including patient flow, rooming, and clinical support activities. Serve as a resource for clinical staff by providing guidance on procedures, workflows, and systems. Monitor clinical processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to organizational policies and standards. Assist in identifying workflow inefficiencies and support process improvement initiatives. Provide day-to-day operational support to clinical staff, helping to troubleshoot routine issues and ensure continuity of care. Partner with leadership to communicate updates, workflow changes, and departmental priorities. Support onboarding and training of new clinical team members in coordination with leadership. Assist with coordination of staff schedules and coverage to maintain efficient clinical operations in a non-supervisory capacity. Ensure appropriate handling of patient information, documentation, and clinical records in compliance with policies. Support adherence to clinical quality, safety, and infection control standards within daily workflows. Promote a positive patient experience by supporting consistent and professional clinical interactions. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the department and organization.
