For more than 55 years, Family Health Centers of San Diego’s (FHCSD) mission has been to provide caring, affordable, high-quality health care and supportive services to everyone, with a special commitment to uninsured, low-income and medically underserved persons. FHCSD is one of the top 10 largest federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) in the country, operating over 90 sites across San Diego County, including primary care, behavioral health, physical rehabilitation, dental, vision, and substance use treatment facilities. They serve over 227,000 patients annually, with a significant portion being low-income and uninsured. The organization is the largest community clinic provider of health care to the uninsured, largest school-based health care provider, and largest mental health provider in the San Diego region. The Clinical Supervisor role involves providing direct supervision to ACSWs and AMFTs, offering feedback on performance, supporting recruitment and training, and ensuring compliance with BBS documentation. The role also includes providing clinical oversight for the extended Social Services team, conducting Clinical Quality Assurance, and providing direct clinical care services to a diverse patient population.
