SUMMARYThe Behavioral Program Supervisor is responsible for the administrative supervision and guidance of the Behavioral Analysis staff in all aspects of the Behavioral Intervention Therapy Department. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below: Supervises the Behavior Analysts and Behavioral Department staffRecommends employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions.Responsible for performance evaluations, orientation, scheduling, and trainingEnsures consistent utilization of applied behavior analysis techniques and promotes a therapeutic environment.Serves as a liaison to other departments within the agency.Instructs and supports staff in the use of behavior intervention strategies. Provides in-service training and professional development to facilitate the growth of staff.Maintains an individual case load and performs all the duties of a behavior analyst.Assigns cases to members of the behavior analysis team based on caseload.Reviews treatment plans to ensure completeness.Facilitates behavior intervention team department meetings, including developing an agenda, disseminating information, conducting training updates, etc.Maintains contact with all behavior analysts to disseminate information related to policy, procedure, and updates related to funders.Works with the management team to design effective policies and procedures for behavioral intervention. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.Tracks all necessary data related to behavioral intervention team performance targets and timeliness of reports.Engages in developing and supporting quality improvement initiatives.Performs other related duties and activities as required SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directs and supervises assigned staff, including performance appraisals, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities. Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required by the Job The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job: Education and Experience: Master’s Degree in behavior analysis or in mental health, psychology or human services with a BCBA credential. Documented training in behavior intervention techniques required. 1-3 Years’ Experience Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: BCBA preferred Other Skills and Abilities: N/A Other Requirements: Travel as needed Physical Requirements: Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
