About The Position

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field required.
  • Illinois clinical license (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT) required.
  • Skilled at communicating both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be an intuitive, nonjudgmental listener who easily builds relationships built on respect, trust and positive regard.
  • Ability to be warm, flexible, and hold a strong belief that generational trauma can be healed through counseling.
  • Detail-driven, highly organized, and enjoy working autonomously but are also excited by big-picture outcomes and the opportunity to innovate and collaborate with a team to reach shared goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with an evidence-based or evidence-informed treatment modality, such as Theraplay, the ARC framework, or other trauma-informed practice preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with the governing board, department heads, and practitioners.
  • Oversee and review practitioners' work procedures.
  • Counsel, motivate, and discipline practitioners, and refer advanced issues to upper management.
  • Ensure practitioners comply with licensure and registration requirements.
  • Ensure compliance, accuracy, and quality of clinical documentation.
  • Assist practitioners by supervising complex cases.
  • Enhance operations by ensuring sufficient staffing and adequate access to services.
  • Develop programs and ensure compliance with procedures and policies.
  • Participate and coordinate training sessions and workshops to enhance treatment skills
