Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Completion of one of the following clinical education or training programs is required, including but now limited to: Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Medical Assistant Program Paramedic Program Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program
  • Minimum 3 years of direct clinical experience in an outpatient or primary care setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a team lead, preceptor, CHW or supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinical support operations, including staffing, clinic readiness, patient flow, and workflow adherence.
  • Ensure exam rooms and shared clinical areas meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and readiness.
  • Coordinate EHR messaging, provider support, and patient follow-up, including no-show rescheduling.
  • Provide operational coverage during assigned on-call weekends.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise clinical support staff through daily guidance, 1:1s, quality observations, and performance feedback.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of clinical support team members.
  • Conduct quality huddles and partner on performance management and corrective actions.
  • Oversee clinical and medication inventory, ensuring accurate documentation, reconciliation, and timely reordering.
  • Promote quality, safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance across assigned sites.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, clinical protocols, and all HIPAA, HRSA, state, federal, and accreditation standards.
