About The Position

Roxbury is currently recruiting a full-time clinical supervisor to oversee our Substance Use Disorder unit to coordinate all clinical services provided to patients of Roxbury’s Substance Use Disorder Program. Responsibilities include supervision of clinical staff; oversight of staff scheduling; provision of group and individual therapy, crisis intervention, oversight of the discharge planning process including case management and completion of documentation. This position provides on-site leadership and daily direction for the clinical programming of the Substance Use Disorder Program. The hours for this position are typically Monday through Friday day shift, however, flexibility is required for evening and weekend hours as required. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or the human services) or other related field and 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent is highly preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or the human services) or other related field with 3 years of clinical experience which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent person will be considered.
  • Certification as an addictions counselor in the state of Pennsylvania is also preferred but not required.
