ABOUT US Sanctuary for Families is New York’s leading service provider and advocate for survivors of domestic violence, sex trafficking and related forms of gender violence. Every year, Sanctuary empowers thousands of adults and children to move from fear and abuse to safety and stability, transforming lives through a comprehensive range of services. We provide a range of wrap-around services to help survivors rebuild their lives in the aftermath of abuse, and work to end gender violence through three key strategies: direct services, outreach and training, and systems-change advocacy. Our services are available in 12 locations throughout New York City. POSITION OVERVIEW The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical supervision, support, and training to their assigned team to help staff members and interns develop their skills, knowledge, and competence in delivering services in the Children and Families program. This position is responsible for the direct oversight of the Children’s Activity Leader and the MO Children’s Room, as well as a Case Manager and Clinicians. The Clinical Supervisor will also carry a small caseload of child and teen clients who have witnessed or been victims of domestic violence or Gender-Based violence. The Clinical Supervisor also ensures adherence to ethical and professional standards, as well as compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
