Your Role at Baxter This is where your work saves lives As a Clinical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise, best-practice standards, and professional skills to support Sales and Services engagements for the Baxter Care Communications product portfolio including Nurse Call and Digital Health products. You will report to the Clinical Operations Manager and work internally with the Project Management team and Engineers, and externally with customer clinical staff to implement and provide updates on project status. Requirements

  • RN, BSN, required
  • 3+ years of experience in the acute care hospital environment working with all levels of hospital staff and leadership.
  • Previous acute care nursing experience.
  • Ability to articulate, design and efficiently implement clinical technology.
  • Facilitate organizational change philosophies to improve the adoption of all Baxter Care Communication programs.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills, including the abilities to negotiate and influence others.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills to understand key customer clinical issues and define how IT solutions will solve challenges facing our customers today.
  • Experience with standards development based on healthcare industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Complete clinical program deliverables for sales/service delivery, including clinical assessments, clinical design strategy, user acceptance testing, launch support, revenue recognition and ongoing customer clinical engagements.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Implementation Consultants, Implementation Engineers, Care Communication Executives and Account Managers to ensure a successful device purchase and implementation.
  • Provide clinical assessments within any of the defined clinical program workflows such as nurse call, voice, text, codes, rapid response, clinical integrations, EHR, physiological monitoring and clinical training.
  • Lead clinical workshops to guide clinicians in their choice of clinical configurations of Care Communications products for enterprise and unit-based settings.
  • Develop positive relationships with the customer to ensure adoption and successful data driven outcomes of all Care Communication product deployments.
  • Provide clinical content to support Sales and Services engagements via written and verbal formats.
  • Build and handle clinical program documentation and coordinate quality control throughout the life cycle of a customer engagement.
  • Provide project related executive summary documentation to hospital partners.
