About The Position

The Clinical Social Worker (CSW) provides high-quality on-site and virtual psychotherapy services to WHEDco program participants, building residents, and members of the surrounding community. The CSW is responsible for managing a caseload of individual clients, facilitating support groups and psychoeducational workshops, and delivering a range of advocacy and referral services. This role is an integral part of WHEDco’s commitment to strengthening the mental health and emotional well-being of the communities we serve.

Requirements

  • LCSW or LMSW; licensure required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in providing mental health.
  • Knowledge of clinical services, case management, and advocacy in a multi-disciplinary setting
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are important.
  • Must be a team player; and able to work with a diverse team.
  • Able to proactively multi-task and adapt to changing and competing needs.
  • Experience in MS Office (including Excel and PowerPoint) and excellent overall computer and database skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health support to individuals experiencing a variety of life stressors, including anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, domestic violence, parenting challenges, and other psychosocial concerns, using evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Offer advocacy and coordinate referrals for services such as medication management, psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention, and other behavioral health supports.
  • Design and lead psychoeducational workshops and therapeutic support groups that address community needs and promote emotional wellness.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation and progress notes in compliance with agency policies and HIPAA regulations in WHEDco’s DataSPACE on Planstreet.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary case conferences, team meetings, and both individual and group supervision to ensure integrated care and continuous professional development.
  • Attend in-house and external professional trainings, workshops, and seminars to remain current with best practices in mental health treatment and community-based service delivery.
  • Support quality assurance and compliance through accurate recordkeeping and adherence to clinical and administrative protocols.
  • Carry out additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Vice President and Clinical Director to enhance service delivery and support agency goals.
