Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
In states requiring license, required upon hire and maintain current in accordance with state regulations. In states without a licensure requirement, current registration for with appropriate state board required and/or under clinical supervision to meet clinical hours required for licensure.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Minimum one (1) year Inpatient l or Outpatient Behavioral Health experience. Experience in working with a diverse population with a wide range of problems (i.e., death and dying, geriatric psych care and subsequent diagnoses, substance abuse, disability, chronic illness, etc.).

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to formulate accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based techniques tailored to clients' specific needs and challenges.
Respond to mental health emergencies, providing immediate support and developing safety plans to ensure client safety.
Collaborate with clients, healthcare professionals, and families to set therapeutic goals and adjust treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
Coordinate resources and services, advocating for clients within the healthcare system and connecting them with community support.
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
