About The Position

Clinical Social Workers provide clinical services to clients/inmates in a residential, home, inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, correctional or similar setting. Incumbents perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this occupation. OR Incumbents perform basic tasks or elements of the job not requiring the additional knowledge, skills and abilities to perform at the next level in the series. The Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Lakes Crossing Center is hiring for a Clinical Social Worker 1 Underfill. Lakes Crossing Center (LCC) is located in Sparks, NV. LCC is a maximum security locked forensic facility which provides evaluations and/or treatment for restoration to legal competency. Clinical Social Workers provide clinical services to clients/inmates in a residential, home, inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, correctional or similar setting. The incumbent will provide direct services to clients at LCC. The services the incumbent will provide include psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, intake assessments, discharge planning, groups, and individual therapy all under direct supervision. The incumbent will also be active on a multidisciplinary team and responsible for following clients within the team.
