The Clinical Senior Practice Leader manages and provides operational leadership to complex, multi-site, and multi-specialty clinical services across the MarinHealth Medical Network. This role ensures alignment with MarinHealth’s enterprise-wide goals, focusing on safety, quality, affordability, patient satisfaction, and access. Working in close collaboration with the physician dyad or designated leadership, the Senior Practice Leader oversees the operational management and coordination of clinical services, ensuring that systems, policies, and procedures are in place to deliver superior patient experiences and quality clinical outcomes, while also ensuring high levels of employee and physician satisfaction and optimal financial performance. This position collaborates with physicians and leadership to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical practice business plans. It identifies areas for improvement, implements strategic initiatives, and ensures compliance with clinic policies, affiliate requirements, and local, state, and federal regulations. The Senior Practice Leader applies a strategic and tactical approach to standardizing workflows, identifying best practices, and executing action plans that drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities also include managing operational budgets, ensuring the effective use of personnel, resources, and supplies to meet financial targets. The Clinical Senior Practice Leader provides quality oversight, ensuring proper and accurate clinical documentation, and serves as a key resource for clinical and non-clinical staff regarding revenue cycle processes, claims completion, and billing accuracy. In this leadership role, the Clinical Senior Practice Leader builds and maintains strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, to collaborate on initiatives and resolve challenges. This individual provides expert guidance in resolving complex or sensitive issues with a compassionate, solution-focused approach.
