About The Position

The Kenwood, a Senior Star community, is seeking a Clinical Scheduling Coordinator Active STNA license Required Responsible for providing administrative support for the Assisted Living Program, Memory Care Program, and Skilled Nursing Program. This position will be responsible for all care partners and nursing schedules. We are looking for someone with strong computer skills and a passion for helping others. Essential Job Functions: Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts in compliance with state regulations and Senior Star ratios. Coordinate call-offs, shift replacements, and schedule changes promptly, maintaining open communication with department supervisors. Collaborate with the Health Services Director and other department leaders to monitor overtime, agency utilization, and staffing trends. Maintain accurate associate records related to attendance, availability, time-off requests, and shift exchanges. Coordinate with clinical directors for attendance discipline tracking. Ensure all shift exchanges are approved by the direct supervisor prior to processing. Support the recruiting and onboarding process by assisting with candidate tracking, interview coordination, and new hire scheduling. Communicate regularly with associates about scheduling updates, open shifts, and community needs in a professional and supportive manner. Track and report on open positions, weekly to the Associate Experience Team. Assist in training new associates on scheduling systems, attendance expectations, and call-in procedures. Provide flexible support to the care team by filling in on an as-needed basis as a care partner to ensure continuous, high-quality resident care. Participate in the on-call rotation to manage and address scheduling needs outside of regular business hours. Perform other duties as assigned to support smooth operations within the Health Services department. Hours Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm, or as required to meet the demands of the position. Some on call is required.

Requirements

  • Experience performing administrative tasks
  • Active STNA Ohio license required
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Physically, mentally and emotionally equipped to carry out the responsibilities of the position
  • Treats all information regarding the community, business or residents as confidential
  • Strong desire to improve the lives of seniors and an embracement of the Senior Star corporate mission and philosophy
  • Experience with electronic health records.

  • Dayforce Scheduling and Point Click Care experience are a plus.
