Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Respiratory Specialist to join their team in beautiful Norfolk, VA!! Requirements

  • Bachelor's Level Degree
  • 5 years Respiratory Care in a critical care setting
  • State Respiratory license
  • NBRC RRT
  • BLS required at time of hire

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordination respiratory educational activities for clinical staff including respiratory practitioners, nursing staff and physicians.
  • Responsible for developing and coordinating staff orientation and competency programs.
  • Accountable for the coordination of multidisciplinary rounding in the critical care areas on mechanically ventilated patients and implementation of ventilator weaning protocols.
