About The Position

The new Diagnostic and Treatment Center (D&TC) will be named the “Rockefeller University Clinical Research Center” (RCRC). The University remains committed to its mission of improving the understanding of science for the benefit of humanity through both clinical and basic research in a diverse range of biological and biomedical issues. The outpatient D&TC reflects the evolution in clinical research to outpatient studies. Overview Four (4) positions available Reporting to the Clinical Trials Nurse Manager, the Clinical Research Nurse is responsible for emphasizing screening, enrollment, treatment administration, and data collection while ensuring compliance and patient safety in the Diagnostic and Treatment Center (D&TC).

Requirements

  • A BSN is required, including a current NYS RN license.
  • Must possess a BCLS certification plus a minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Position requires in-person, onsite presence.
  • Must be proficient in computer platforms, including MS Office Suite.
  • Strong technical proficiency and quantitative skills are required.
  • Must have the highest level of discretion to handle confidential information.
  • Commitment to advancing research and patient outcomes, plus an ability to work collaboratively across clinical and research teams.
  • Must have a passion for excellent customer service and commitment to exceptional quality.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, along with attention to detail, are essential.
  • Initiative and self-motivation are critical.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in an academic, medical, or research institution is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Executes and coordinates clinical trials by combining patient care with research responsibilities.
  • Screens and enrolls participants.
