Internship Program Summary Are you a 2026 college graduate or rising college senior pursuing a science degree ? AbelsonTaylor Group is looking for 9 Chicago area-based interns to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program, nextgenerATion. Our internship program offers a rewarding experience that fosters creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity. You’ll collaborate with professionals across all levels, gaining hands-on experience to give you a competitive edge in your career. During the program, you’ll have the chance to engage with teams from various departments. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with fellow interns on an exciting, summer-long group project! Clinical Research Intern Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) ensure the accuracy and integrity of healthcare advertising by verifying claims against clinical literature. As a CRA Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience with literature review, collaborate with other CRAs and copywriters, and contribute your expertise to an engaging intern group project. This is a great opportunity to apply your scientific knowledge in a creative, fast-paced agency setting.

Requirements

  • An expected 2026 graduate, or a rising senior (graduating 2027)
  • A dependable, self-motivated professional who thrives in a hybrid schedule, with optional remote work on Mondays and Fridays, and required on-site presence in our Chicago office Tuesdays through Thursdays
  • Able to multitask & complete tasks efficiently
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Pursuing Science degree or have a scientific background , with a solid understanding of scientific, medical, and/or clinical text
  • Passionate for Science plus a curiosity about healthcare advertising
  • Self-starter, e xtremely organized and have a high degree of attention to detail
  • Seek out opportunities to learn the business of advertising and industry trends

Responsibilities

  • Research and maintain references for assigned account(s) and organize all materials used as claim support in marketing materials
  • Review copy manuscripts from the writers and ensure every claim in the text is factual and supportable by high-quality references (e.g., randomized, controlled clinical trials, peer reviewed articles, guideline recommendations)
  • Prepare references to submit for use in med-reg review of marketing materials
  • Collaborate with fellow interns on a comprehensive, final project to feature in your professional portfolio
