About The Position

GoodVets is a rapidly scaling network of innovative animal hospitals and a leader in DeNovo hospital development, building modern hospitals from the ground up. Backed by General Atlantic and SkyKnight Capital, the company is expanding quickly across the U.S. and aims to build the next generation of veterinary care. The Clinical Recruiter, reporting to the VP of Recruiting, will be a team player responsible for building strong talent pipelines and representing the GoodVets brand. This individual will shape how the company attracts, selects, and retains top clinical talent in a high-volume space, supporting the company's incredible growth pace. This role is located in the Downtown Chicago office 4 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience recommended.
  • Possess knowledge of the recruitment process, talent sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruitment metrics.
  • Strong communicator, an effective listener, and can connect with varied individuals across the organization.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; moreover, you analyze data, identify trends, and subsequently develop them into recommendations for strategic action.
  • Approach to recruiting is anchored in exceptional customer service practices, including attention to producing quality results while building positive relationships.
  • Thrive on organization, are detail-oriented by nature, and love to make someone’s day by delivering outstanding candidate and stakeholder care.
  • Love balancing a high-volume requisition load with meaningful candidate engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively searching for potential Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Veterinary Receptionists through various channels, such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to identify individuals who align with the hospital’s needs.
  • Conducting thorough screenings of potential candidates, assessing their qualifications, experience, skills, and cultural fit for the hospital.
  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews between candidates and hospital hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
  • Establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with candidates, keeping them informed regarding hospital opportunities, and addressing all questions and concerns promptly.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitor practices, market shifts, and emerging recruitment strategies.
  • Facilitating communication between candidates and hiring managers during the negotiation process.
  • Collaborating with HR and legal teams to ensure that offers align with hospital policies and industry standards.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records, utilizing applicant tracking systems to efficiently track candidate progress, while monitoring recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and conversion rates.
