Responsibilities

  • Schedule logistics and secure resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations.
  • Send, receive, copy, and distribute communications according to established policies and procedures.
  • Track, stock, order, and inventory office supplies under direct supervision.
  • Serve as an occasional point of contact for individuals and groups, providing basic organizational information and routing complex inquiries.
  • Perform a variety of clerical duties involved in greeting and directing patients, making appointments, processing forms, and providing information to assist patients in obtaining clinical services.
  • Perform clerical and receptionist functions.
  • Provide assistance and information to students on services, charges, and treatment procedures.
  • Operate computer/word-processing program to enter patient data.
  • Maintain database of patients in Electronic Medical Records.
  • Assemble and route patient records to assigned locations, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Answer telephone, take messages, transfer calls, and provide information to other departments upon request.
  • Arrange for the acceptance of patients for clinical treatment; notify patients of scheduled appointments; arrange for the transfer of patients to other clinics as required.
  • Assist in the compilation of data for regular and special reports.
  • Perform basic work processing functions to enter a variety of patient data.
  • Accept payments from patients/clients.
  • Perform similar or related duties as assigned or required.
