About The Position

Clinical Program Manager at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shift. Under the Direction of the Director of Risk Management, the Patient Safety Officer is responsible for the development, coordination and evaluation of an organization-wide Patient Safety Program at St. Mary Medical Center. Key functions include internal and external safety data and experience analysis and action planning, development and integration of key aspects of the hospital's Patient Safety Plan, coordination of proactive performance improvement and educational activities related to patient safety. The Patient Safety Officer assesses and promotes compliance with The Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals and other evidence-based patient safety initiatives, and implements programs, policies, and education to maximize patient safety. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 5 years of Clinical practice experience

  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) upon hire
