Clinical Operations Manager
About The Position
The Clinical Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing medical clinic operations across multiple service sites at Daily Planet Health Services (DPHS). This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient management of clinic resources and driving improvements in patient care and treatment outcomes. The manager will lead the medical support staff team (LPN/MA), coordinate cross-departmentally, and implement best practices to maintain compliance with regulatory standards. By fostering staff development and training, the role ensures that clinical operations are conducted with the highest quality and ethical standards. Ultimately, the Clinical Operations Manager contributes to enhancing program effectiveness to support vulnerable populations. In addition to managerial tasks, this position provides direct patient care and supports the Medical Respite Program.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as RN.
- Demonstrated experience managing staff and regulatory standards.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Virginia.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health or Healthcare Management.
- Experience working within social assistance or community health organizations.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and data reporting.
- Background in patient advocacy or community outreach.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage medical clinic operations and inventory, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the planning, execution, and monitoring of special projects to ensure timely and accurate data collection.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance clinical competencies and maintain compliance with clinical protocols.
- Provide direct patient care within scope of practice at all sites including residential facilities.
- Analyze operational performance metrics and implement process improvements to optimize clinical program efficiency and patient outcomes.
