About The Position

Work Schedule: This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday – Friday scheduled for eight hours between 7:00 am – 4:30 pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a hybrid position working 2 – 3 days per week at East Madison Hospital, in Madison, WI, and the remainder working from home after the training period. We are seeking a Clinical Operations Assistant to: Lead and support payroll and staff scheduling functions, including daily timekeeping review, payroll corrections, schedule updates, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and pay practices. Serve as a primary resource for staff and leaders regarding payroll, scheduling, time-off requests, and related policies, providing accurate guidance and timely issue resolution. Provide leadership support through management of calendars, maintenance of agendas, taking meeting minutes, and coordinating activities and schedules for management and department teams. Coordinate administrative aspects of Perioperative Services, including preparing reports, researching issues, and assisting in updating policies, procedures, manuals, and administrative tools. Ensure departmental and staff compliance with policy and procedure requirements, including quality control monitoring of time-sensitive processes and workflows. Purchase supplies, materials, services, or equipment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative support role Required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare or related field Preferred
  • 3 years of experience in an administrative support function Preferred
  • Previous experience in a health care setting Preferred
