About The Position
Perioperative Patient Care Assistant - Perioperative Services - Days NewYork-Presbyterian is excited to expand our mission of delivering the highest quality care to residents of Westchester County and surrounding communities. A state-of-the-art ambulatory care facility at 1111 Westchester Avenue in White Plains—a center designed to set new standards in patient experience, convenience, and quality care. Led by top Columbia doctors, this multi-disciplinary facility will offer a wide range of specialized adult and pediatric care all under one roof. Perioperative Patient Care Assistants promote a culture of caring, empathy and safety to ensure we meet every patient’s needs. Provide and maintain a safe, neat, and clean patient environment. Ensure the maintenance of supplies, equipment, and patient care in accordance with established procedure. Participate in patient care activities as a member of the nursing team and under the supervision of a registered nurse. This is a full time position available working five (5) 7.5-hour shifts Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm at NewYork-Presbyterian/The One in White Plains, New York. There are no weekends or holidays required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
