About The Position

In this leadership role, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, support staff development, and ensure safe, high-quality care for patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring.

Requirements

• Active RN license required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Prior Charge Nurse or Nurse Leadership experience required.
• BLS: Required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS: Required within 30 days of hire.
• NIHSS Stroke Certification: Required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for PCU staff, providing coaching, training, and constructive feedback.
• Support improved patient outcomes and ensure an exceptional care experience.
• Assist with staff scheduling, patient flow, and admissions/discharges .
• Monitor and manage a 34-bed PCU caring for patients with: Chest pain, CVA/TIA, sepsis, and pulmonary complications.
• IV drips including cardizem, amiodarone, heparin, and lasix.
• Neuro and COVID-related conditions.
