About The Position
Grow your nursing career in a leadership role as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator on a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) . This is a hands-on opportunity to lead staff, support quality patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic acute-care environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior Charge Nurse experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Stroke Certification (required within 30 days of hire)
Responsibilities
- Deliver, coordinate, and evaluate safe, patient-centered care.
- Provide coaching, training, and real-time support to clinical staff.
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in staff scheduling and workflow oversight.
- Support admission and discharge processes for a 34-bed PCU.
- Monitor patients with: Chest pain, CVA/TIA, sepsis, pulmonary conditions, neuro issues, and COVID-related diagnoses.
- Infusions including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, and Lasix .
