About The Position

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance. TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 150 bed hospital that has provided high-quality health care for over 40 years. The facility is the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Sumner County and a Certified Primary Stroke Center. The Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville, featuring Sumner County's only Level II NICU services which hosts spacious LDRP suites and a lactation boutique for inpatient and outpatient services. In addition, our facility is Gold Seal Certified in Total Hip and Total with The Joint Commission.

Requirements

Current RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
Current BLS from the American Heart Association
ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment
CPI within 6 months of employment
Must have +1 year pf emergency room nurse experience

Responsibilities

You will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed records
You will order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess the patients condition.
You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
You will promote hospital customer service initiatives.
You will utilize the nursing process for individual care to meet the needs of patients.
You will demonstrate the ability to perform technical skills and procedures.
