About The Position

A Clinical Nurse Coordinator provides administrative, clinical, and logistical support to infusion therapy teams, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care. Triaging patient clinical needs. Works collaboratively with other Aspen Infusion clinical and administrative departments. Responsible for conducting clinical referral review. Supports the Aspen Infusion Nursing team and partners with Agency nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Must possess a current Arizona RN license.
  • Must possess a current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of one year related experience or equivalent; infusion nursing experience is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Proof of TB screening.
  • Strong charting/documentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a subject matter expert and provides re-education and training to patients and caregivers on infusion therapy protocols.
  • Acts as a professional liaison between physicians, patients, and the care team.
  • Educates patients on protocol changes and safety measures.
  • Collaborates with physicians and assimilates information quickly.
  • Resolves clinical and administrative patient care problems.
  • Addresses technical and clinical infusion therapy issues.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (clinical and nonclinical) to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient education based on disease state, treatment, access, and adherence.
  • Assists patients with understanding infusion therapy procedures, answering questions, and coordinating access to necessary resources.
  • Supports sales staff in growing new business by accompanying them on sales calls to discuss clinical services and programs, contributes to the development of marketing tools and programs, marketing documentation, and clinical programs.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls as needed.
  • Provides effective and safe teaching using a patient-centered care approach for patients and families to achieve independence with prescribed therapy and care needs through active participation per the plan of treatment goals.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to escalate requests and initiate emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
