About The Position

Clinical Neuro Hospitalist Department of Neurology Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center – Inpatient Services The Department of Neurology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is seeking a full-time Clinical Neuro Hospitalist to join our growing inpatient neurology service. This position is primarily clinical and based at BIDMC, a tertiary academic medical center in Boston, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will provide inpatient neurology care and/or equivalent teleneurology coverage, with an annual commitment of one hundred eighty-two (182) inpatient or equivalent teleneurology shifts per fiscal year. Clinical responsibilities include the evaluation and management of patients with a wide range of acute neurologic conditions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team. If applicable, the candidate will be appointed to the full-time faculty of Harvard Medical School at a rank commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
Eligibility for a Massachusetts medical license
Demonstrated excellence in inpatient neurological care
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, academic environment

Responsibilities
