What you will do: Reporting to the Practice Administrator at a comprehensive, multi-specialty site, the Clinical Manager at Remington Internal Medicine is responsible for assisting the Practice Administrator in the daily clinical operations of the health center with an emphasis on managing clinical staff including budget management, scheduling, safety, environment of care, maintain adequate clinical supply level and the hiring, supervision, staffing, evaluation and discipline of Human Resources. This position assists with tasks to comply with various pay for performance programs such as value based purchasing, patient centered medical home, and meaningful use and support of our patient centered mission. Additionally, this position focuses on customer service and continuous improvement of clinical operations. Works effectively with patients to resolve customer service issues. Develops and implements common priorities and goals related to providing optimal customer service, maximizing operational efficiency, and assuring financial viability. The Clinical Manager II must demonstrate, through leadership example, visible organizational support and a positive attitude to create a positive work environment. Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing. Experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree at a 2:1 ratio. (Equivalent would 8 years of experience for education AND 1 years of supervisory/management experience for a total of 9 years of healthcare experience needed to qualify for position.)
  • Two years of healthcare management experience with direct supervision of staff is required.
  • Current, unrestricted, RN licensure in Maryland and other jurisdictions as required.
  • Valid CPR certification required upon hire and recertification required every two years.

Nice To Haves

  • Ambulatory care experience highly preferred.
