Under the direction of the Department Manager and in association with the radiologists, the Clinical Instructor Diagnostic Imaging conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The Clinical Instructor performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team. The Clinical Instructor is responsible for all student paperwork and takes responsibility for the student's clinical rotation.

Requirements

  • Post HS Special Training
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
  • Training and orientation at the Marion County School of Radiologic Technology
  • State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license
  • ARRT
  • BLS
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Responsibilities

  • Conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care.
  • Performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.
  • Responsible for all student paperwork and takes responsibility for the student's clinical rotation.
