About The Position

The Manager of Diagnostic Imaging Services plans, organizes and directs the activities of Diagnostic Imaging Services at Providence St. Peter Hospital and assigned departments within Southwest Washington Region. The provision of safe, efficient, cost effective, quality imaging services is the focus of the departmental operations. Implements departmental goals and objectives, develops and assures professional standards, and assures a balanced budget in all cost centers. Works closely with the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, to assure imaging services are effectively coordinated. The Manager coordinates the daily operations through close interaction with leads, colleagues, staff, physicians, nursing personnel, and medical offices. Responsible for development and implementation of onsite operations, which are integrated and consistent with the regional delivery system. Provides leadership, management, and direction for all services within Diagnostic Imaging. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Healthcare Administration, or Radiology.
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist Or Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Or Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Or Upon hire: National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Experience in the education of personnel management.
  • 2 years Supervisory capacity in a Radiology Department.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training Graduate of an ACR Certified Radiologic Technology Training Program, ARDMS Program or MNTCB.
  • Master's Degree
  • 5 years Working in one or more of these positions: Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Technologist, or Sonographer.
