About The Position

The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant position is a Per Diem role located at Glenbrook Hospital, specifically within the Front desk Admin – Mammography department. This role operates on a day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with limited travel. The assistant is responsible for patient interaction, data entry into the EPIC system, scheduling, check-ins, and reminder calls. Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent
• CPR certification required
• Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required
• Typing 25-35 wpm

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of prior secretarial supervisory experience
• Medical terminology preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet all patients coming into the Mammo department and assist with patient issues
• Input patient information into the EPIC system with high accuracy
• Schedule, check in, and verify information for patients
• Make reminder phone calls to patients the day prior to their appointment
