The UNC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Genetic Counselor to join our reproductive genetics team. This role provides comprehensive reproductive genetic counseling services within a collaborative group that includes 6 genetic counselors, 2 Maternal-Fetal Medicine/Geneticists, and 20 Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists. Clinical services are provided across several locations, including NC Women’s Hospital, UNC MFM at Vilcom, UNC MFM at Duraleigh, and Moore Regional Hospital. The position includes involvement with the UNC Center for Maternal and Infant Health and the UNC Fetal Care Center. Responsibilities include patient care as well as supervision and teaching of students, residents, fellows, and other learners. The Genetic Counselor will play an active role in patient care while also contributing to the education of medical students, residents, fellows, and genetic counseling students.
