About The Position

The successful candidate’s responsibilities may include teaching in the classroom, clinical settings, simulation, or online in any of the degree programs offered in the Department of Nursing. Teaching may include supervision of capstone projects. In addition, responsibilities include engaging in scholarly, creative activities that promote professional growth and enhance teaching/professional competence; integration of evidence-based practices in the classroom and clinical settings; service on committees and participation in official activities of the Department, College, and University, among others. There are no on-line only teaching positions within the Department of Nursing.

Requirements

  • An earned Master of Science in Nursing ( MSN ) or doctor of nursing practice ( DNP ) by the time of appointment is required
  • A commitment to excellence in teaching compatible with the BCHS mission
  • Candidates who are enrolled in a MSN or DNP program are eligible to apply if all degree requirements will be completed by the date of appointment
