About The Position

Identifies clinical practice workflow and process issues and concerns, and provides leadership and guidance to define system and process requirements that will optimize performance and utilization by clinicians. The Clinical Informatics Analyst is responsible for the assessment, planning, training, implementation, evaluation, and optimization of nursing informatics projects. The goal of the position is to serve as the primary interface between nursing, IT, and patient care services to ensure transparent multidisciplinary delivery of healthcare technology.

Requirements

• Knowledge and skills in quality improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of nursing process and practices.
• Knowledge of mandates of regulatory and accrediting bodies.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Evidence of ability to function with a high degree of independence while actively collaborating with health care members providing care.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Clinical Degree for patient-facing role.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge with an EMR, preferably Meditech, with application build experience.
• Hospital or clinic workflow knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the completion and effectiveness of assessing, planning, implementation, evaluation, and optimization of nursing informatics projects.
• Provides program management for nursing informatics projects.
• Facilitates a safe practice environment for interdisciplinary team members to use technology.
