Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably focused on specialty, clinical, or hard‑to‑fill roles.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates and influencing hiring decisions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience with ATS/CRM systems and modern sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build, nurture, and sustain relationships with both active and passive candidates in highly specialized clinical and technical disciplines.
  • Source talent through cold-calling, referrals, networking, digital platforms, and industry events.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor who authentically represents Hanger’s mission and value proposition.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, operational leaders, and HR partners to develop customized recruiting strategies for hard‑to‑fill specialty roles.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of recruitment activities, candidate pipelines, and communication notes within the designated ATS/CRM.
  • Craft compelling job postings and outreach messaging tailored to niche talent pools.
  • Effectively communicate Hanger’s culture, career pathways, total rewards, and growth opportunities to prospective candidates.
  • Attend and represent Hanger at specialty conferences, career fairs, and industry events (virtual and in‑person).
  • Build strong professional networks with schools, associations, and professional organizations to cultivate long‑term pipelines.
  • Source, screen, and qualify candidates; coordinate interviews; manage travel logistics; negotiate offers; and facilitate a seamless end-to-end hiring process.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from first engagement through onboarding.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive intelligence, and specialty talent dynamics to position Hanger as an employer of choice.
  • Recommend innovative sourcing approaches to continually enhance recruitment effectiveness.
