As TriNetX continues to grow globally, the Clinical Feasibility & Analytics team is looking for an amicable, hardworking, and innovative candidate to join as an intern to continue the success of its multi-faceted and impactful team. In this position, the Clinical Feasibility & Analytics intern will draw upon their thirst for clinical research to assist with finding relevant patient cohorts using TriNetX data networks. The Clinical Feasibility & Analytics intern will also utilize existing clinical information and skills to help solve complex research questions. The ideal candidate for this position is willing to learn our platform, data, and tools with the determination to learn and optimize clinical research. Throughout the internship, the candidate will develop deep proficiency in the TriNetX LIVE™ platform, becoming a go-to resource for navigating its tools, data networks, and analytical capabilities. By the end of the summer, the intern will have cultivated expert-level familiarity with the platform, positioning them to contribute meaningfully to feasibility assessments, cohort analyses, and client-facing deliverables. One area of focus will be supporting the translation of clinical eligibility criteria and terminology into structured, executable queries for use in AI-driven applications. The intern will contribute to the development of processes that bridge clinical knowledge and computational logic, working at the intersection of healthcare data and emerging technology. This is a unique opportunity to play a hands-on role in AI initiatives advancing the use of real-world data in clinical research. Candidates will learn the particulars of clinical trial design and feasibility, use of real-world data in healthcare settings, and epidemiological research study design and analysis. The internship will culminate with a company-wide internship presentation, where you will discuss the work you have done and your experience.

Requirements

  • Initiative to learn our platform, data, analytics, and the particulars of clinical research and clinical trial design
  • Strong, flexible, research skills and the ability to locate epidemiological and clinical information
  • Demonstrated time management skills and organization of workload to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in all work deliverables
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Sufficient Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
  • Self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a diverse team

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of clinical research, clinical trial design, patient eligibility criteria, and/or clinical trial execution
  • Previous experience in clinical research or patient data including clinical information systems, EMR, claims, etc.
  • Familiarity with clinical data coding systems and/or computer-based clinical search tools and data analytics
  • Understanding of data analysis or statistical software (SAS, R, etc.)
  • Experience performing literature reviews

Responsibilities

  • Translating eligibility criteria and querying for patient cohorts using TriNetX LIVE™
  • Assisting in preparing client-facing deliverables, including feasibility assessments, study summaries, and data visualizations
  • Answering daily questions for our pharma and healthcare users regarding platform and analytic capabilities
  • Reviewing professional journals and publications to help solve complex research questions
  • Working with the Clinical Feasibility & Analytics team, other Client Delivery staff, and others across the company on project evaluations, disease/study reports, internal and external presentations, scientific publications, and more
  • Participating in team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to build expertise in real-world evidence and clinical operations
  • Tracking task statuses against specified timelines and deliverables, and communicating the statuses and activities to the larger team
  • Assuring data quality, integrity, and confidentiality of information
