About The Position

Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Clinical Education Coordinator for the Graduate Counseling Programs. The selected individual will be responsible for providing administrative, accreditation, and office support for teaching and clinical activities while assisting with student admission and retention efforts. This position also provides oversight of clinical placements and assists with field placements for students. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required
Active member of the church of Christ

Minimum of 3 years of related experience preferred

Responsibilities

Initiate and oversee clinical placements
Onboard students for field placements
Identify, recruit, and maintain approved clinical training sites
Assist with maintaining, collecting and tracking accreditation records
Provide support for outreach and retention of students
Provide administrative support to the faculty of the Graduate Counseling Programs department
Serve as a liaison between the department and students, faculty, staff, and other university offices
Assist in compiling and managing departmental academic schedules and scheduling classes/classrooms
Maintain student data on graduates; assist with student registration and recruitment
Process, secure and track required documents for faculty and adjuncts
Provide ongoing support for admissions and recruiting functions for the program
Supervise student workers and graduate assistants
