FlexStaff is seeking a visionary Clinical Director to lead our clients dedicated clinical services team at their innovative outpatient program in Copiague, NY. Beginning in January, we’re offering a unique temporary placement for an experienced prescriber familiar with methadone treatment at our Copiague outpatient program. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional looking to contribute expertise during a leave of absence, with potential for impactful collaboration
Requirements
- A Physician, NP or MD licensed by the New York State Education Department, with current certification
- Valid NY State driver’s license with a clean record
- Background clearance including fingerprinting, criminal check, and OASAS approval
- Extensive experience with Methadone
Responsibilities
- Provide overarching clinical oversight for treatment plans and staff service delivery
- Conduct thorough medical assessments and prescribe appropriate treatments
- Lead, mentor, and educate our multidisciplinary clinical team
- Oversee medication management and psychiatric/medical procedures in collaboration with nursing staff
- Engage actively in delivering personalized, integrated care plans that promote recovery and resilience
- Participate in rotating 24/7 crisis response, ensuring safety and support at all hours
- Uphold agency compliance, prevent healthcare fraud, and ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations
