About The Position

The Clinical Director oversees and manages all clinical operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and maintaining the highest standards of client care. This position directly manages, supports, and develops staff.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree required with current State license (e.g. LPC, LMFT, LCSW).
  • DORA-registered required.
  • 5+ years proven experience with people and program management in clinical settings.
  • Strong clinical skills including clinical supervision, group, individual and family counseling.
  • Strong ethics and ethical decision making.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Strong collaboration skills; guidance with/for other departments.
  • Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to see the big picture, macro perspective.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
  • Working understanding of State and federal regulatory requirements (JCAHO, BHA, CFR42, part 2, HIPPA).
  • Current CPR Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude.
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of EMR and CRM.

Responsibilities

  • Staffing (hiring, training, scheduling, onboarding).
  • Evaluation (performance management, performance evaluation).
  • Training (skills and competencies, professional development, career planning).
  • Apply knowledge of policies and procedures to aid all departments with situations.
  • Develop and implement programmatic and administrative policies and procedures to attain program goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the program's productivity to meet established standards and to ensure continuity of care in the provision of comprehensive services.
  • Supervision of administrative tasks, clinical services and staff restorative intervention.
  • Assist/direct clinical meetings/case conferences with all clinical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory documentation standards; model compliance.
  • Sign off on all non-licensed clinical documentation.
  • Review clinical documentation to ensure quality and completion within policy timelines.
  • Oversee utilization review communication and training of staff on this process.
  • Provide crisis and program counseling services, approve admissions, take “call” after hours.
  • Represent NRT’s mission and values.
  • Attend leadership meetings.
  • Assist with quality assurance meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
