Key responsibilities include interpreting and developing patient care standards, ensuring quality health services, managing resource allocation, and overseeing fiscal operations. The Clinical Director is also tasked with defining and monitoring nursing practice standards, ensuring the availability and appropriate use of human and material resources, fostering collaboration within Patient Services and across other divisions and disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to organizational goals. The position requires extensive interaction with all levels of staff, management, physicians, vendors, and professional colleagues, and hospital-based leaders may operate under a dual matrixed reporting structure.
