The Clinical Coordinator - ECMO reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The Clinical Coordinator - ECMO provides clinical services to patients and support services to the ECMO program. This position makes referrals to external clinicians or treatment programs or other community resources, as appropriate and in accordance with established departmental protocol. The ECMO Coordinator will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate quality care and provide clinical expertise to the campus’ ECMO program. (S)he will apply scientific basis/evidenced-based practice towards clinical practice, as appropriate to his/her clinical licensure.
