About The Position

EAC Network, a not-for-profit social service agency that empowers, assists, and cares for over 70,000 people in need through 120 programs across Long Island and NYC, seeks a Clinical Coordinator to work full time for its Brooklyn Community Re-Entry Assistance Network (CRAN) program. Wage: $72,842-$75,027 per year Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm ET Location: 175 Remsen Street in Brooklyn & 120 Stuyvesant Place on Staten Island Primary Purpose of Job: The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing clinical support to the Case Managers of the CRAN program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or Social Work and a minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with mental illness or Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Must be proficient in computer applications and other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments.
  • Knowledge of treatment programs and the criminal justice system required.

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Clinical Director to provide clinical leadership and support to the Assistance Network Services and Community Transitional Case Management teams.
  • Oversee clinical documentation in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Coordinator and Directors.
  • Determine client eligibility and screen cases for more comprehensive assessments (psychological testing and/or risk assessment) in collaboration with the Clinical Director.
  • Review intake assessments, conduct re-assessments and provide treatment recommendations.
  • Be the primary point of contact and collaborate with Riker’s HHC Staff, Court, the Office of the District Attorney, the Defense Bar and all other involved criminal justice agencies on cases.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Assist the Clinical Director in supervision of the trainees and interns.
  • Interface with treatment providers in the community.
  • Conduct clinical rounds and in-service trainings on an on-going basis.
  • Perform all other duties as determined by Supervision and EAC NETWORK Administration.
