About The Position

The Clinical and Community Outreach Coordinator at Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute (BCDI) is responsible for developing, strengthening, and maintaining relationships with referring specialists, healthcare providers, and partner organizations. This role primarily focuses on driving new patient referrals and educating external healthcare organizations and providers about BCDI's hemophilia treatment center model. The position combines leadership, analytics, communications, and field-based relationship skills to enhance BCDI’s presence in the broader healthcare community. It is critical for expanding awareness of BCDI’s comprehensive care model, services, and core values, while also increasing patient referrals through strategic outreach and engagement. BCDI is a Federally recognized Center of Excellence and offers a supportive team-oriented environment with knowledgeable managers and a focus on patient outcomes, without corporate bureaucracy.

Requirements

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized with a proactive approach to outreach
  • Ability to travel locally/regionally as needed
  • Ability to independently lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work outside regular business hours as required by outreach activities/events

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience in the healthcare industry preferred
  • Marketing, business development, or sales experience is preferred
  • Experience with CRM or referral tracking tools a plus
